Marty Bassett, an Indiana native, was raised in Bloomington and believes his core values come from a hometown made up of a diverse  international and rural southern Indiana culture.  Raised by a father from a northern Indiana farming community and a mother from Chicago, an artist, Marty was destined to have a culturally rich background.  In grade school, he spent time at the I.U. School of Music under private instruction on a path to become a musician. While he received his bachelors in Arts and Science at Indiana University he was a scholarship athlete.

Marty's career in the financial services industry began in April of 1988. After brief employments with Raymond James and LPL Financial, he opened his own Registered Investment Advisory Firm. He was destined to be an entrepreneur. Marty is a recipient of the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

Marty moved his family from Bloomington to Fort Wayne, Indiana 20 years ago. His wife is a special education teacher for a nearby middle school.  His two sons are 23 and 19 respectively.  One currently resides in Seattle, Washington and the other is pursuing a degree from Purdue University Fort Wayne.
